Maria graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005, receiving a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours and has worked in a variety of settings in both Australia and the United Kingdom.  She is currently completing her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.  


Maria adopts a holistic approach to her patient care and enjoys working with a broad range of age groups and conditions. She has developed a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries and integrates her physiotherapy skills and passion for movement therapy and active rehabilitation through Clinical Pilates, to assist her patients to achieve their goals.  


Maria has completed further training in Clinical Pilates, dry needling, spinal, tendon and muscle injury management, McKenzie Therapy and Watson Headache methods, and incorporates these into her treatments. Her other special interests include neck and back injuries, clinical pilates, headaches, pelvic and shoulder dysfunction, pre and post natal care and corrective exercise rehabilitation. 

Maria is extremely passionate about delivering excellent evidence based treatment and helping others to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life in a holistic manner.  As the Founding Director of Re-Vitalise Physiotherapy & Pilates in 2017, Maria is extremely passionate and proud to lead a unique, comprehensive and quality service to the Ballarat region.   

Outside of work she enjoys travelling, music, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
