ELEANOR DWYER

PHYSIOTHERAPIST / PILATES PRACTITIONER

Doctor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science

University of Melbourne

APA Member, Clinical Pilates (APPI Certification)

Eleanor graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy.  She has since worked in private practice with strong emphasis in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, and the private hospital setting in Melbourne working alongside some of Melbourne’s leading orthopaedic surgeons.  Working in both the acute hospital setting and in the clinic progressing patients through the end stages of their rehab, Eleanor has gained valuable experience through all stages of injury.

Eleanor believes in a movement for healing approach to physiotherapy treatment. This approach complements her teachings in Clinical Pilates as she aims to educate all patients about their own bodies from injury management, prevention and overall wellbeing.

Eleanor has previously competed at an elite level in gymnastics and enjoys working with gymnasts.  Her other special interests include lower limb and adolescent injuries.  She will also be running our new and exciting Kids and Teens Pilates Program.

Outside of work, Eleanor enjoys traveling, keeping active and exploring new restaurants and cafes with friends.  She is excited to relocate back to Ballarat in 2019 and looks forward to assisting our great community.
